Why do we think about others?

Image
In one of previous posts I promised to write something about our relations with other people. Why do we think about them? Why do we care about what they have or who they are? And what's more - why do we compare ourself with others? I think we all know the answers for these questions. First of all - we think about others when we care about them. In this group there is our family, our friends. People who also care about us. We have a strong bond so it is totally normal we think about them and that they think about us. Another thing is thinking about strangers or people we know but we don't have close relations. It is often connected with third question above. We compare ourself with them. If we are better than someone, we usually feel good. That doesn't matter in which part of life we are better. The most important is - we are better. If we are worse... There are to ways of thinking - we admire someone and we want to be like them, we are not jealous, we try to achieve...

We live in a strange world. When you do something for yourself you are called egoist. When you do something for someone, everyone thinks you have benefits because of that. And the biggest problem - why we think about others, what they do or have, instead of ourselves? (that's a problem for another post). We care about things we have to do, about time we have, about our problems. But we don't think about us. When did you last time think what you want to do? What do you need? What do you really want? It is not easy to think about ourselves in the world where you can easily be called egoist. You care about everyone, but you forget about yourself. And you should be the most important to yourself. There is no advantage of helping someone when you are not happy or satisfy. Even o...

It seems important while we live, we want more and more and it's never enough. But in life the most important are people we live with. Our family, friends... It is important to find youself, make your dreams come true. You will never satisfy all, that is not possible. The only person you have to satisfy is you, no one else. Unfortunetely, people often forget about that. They work all the time instead of spending time with their families. They pretend someone else just to achieve something they want or need. Stop here for a while. Think about yourself. Who are you? What you like? What you really want? Look at the mirror. What do you see? Do you like it? At first sight, these are not hard questions, right? Just in theory. Often these questions are the most unlikely. Why? Because we are scared the answers for t...
